Raleigh International is a leading Youth Charity that operates community and environmental projects in under developed countries around the world. By taking part in the expedition I hope to gain valuable experience, developing my team working and communication skills as well as acquiring new skills and personal competences. For some 10 weeks I will be immersed in a different culture and way of life. Importantly I will be working alongside local volunteers and other youngsters helping people to make a difference, assisting with community, environmental and adventure projects, for example constructing a building for community use.
